Imperial Carriage Museum Ticket
Imperial Carriage Museum Ticket
Located in the beautiful gardens of Schönbrunn Palace, the Imperial Carriage Museum houses an exhibition with over 600 carriages used in their daily lives by members of the Habsburg dynasty.
With this entrance ticket, you'll be able to see Baroque ceremonial carriages, sports carriages, leisure carriages, travel carriages- they had one for every occasion. In addition to all these elegant forms of transportation, this exhibition also highlights Empress Sissi's life, so we can find a collection of her personal objects, such as her riding cloak, several tail dresses, and her only remaining saddle.
You'll also have the opportunity to see the carriage that belonged to Napoleon's son himself, a miniature carriage that displays the highest quality of craftsmanship. The two black carriages that were used in the funerals of Sissi, Franz Joseph, and Zita de Bourbon-Parma also present interesting decorative features worth checking out.
