Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Vienna. Our drive will allow us to admire the breathtaking views of the Salzkammergut mountain district.
3.5 hours later, we'll arrive at Hallstatt, a picturesque town located in the Austrian Alps that will enchant you with its unmistakable charm. Did you know that this town inspired the snowy kingdom in the movie Frozen? There, accompanied by our English-speaking guide, we'll stroll through the cobbled alpine alleyways and streets that have witnessed 700 years of turbulent history. We'll also observe the architectural details of the town's houses and church as we explore.
You'll then have 1 hour 30 minutes of free time to have lunch and continue exploring the town.
Before finishing the tour, if you're travelling in summer, we'll say goodbye to Hallstat with a pleasant boat trip on the lake. If you're travelling at other times of the year, we'll visit the Bone House, located in St. Michael's Chapel. This fascinating attraction, known for its collection of more than 600 artistically painted skulls, dates back to the 12th century.
Once our day trip has finished, we'll return to Vienna by bus, arriving at the Vienna State Opera at 8:15 pm.
Pickup Info
Upon booking, you'll be shown a drop-down menu with different pickup times and hotels in the centre of Vienna. You'll have to select one of them, but if it does not appear, the pickup is not available.
If your accommodation is not on the list or the list does not appear, we'll pick you up at the indicated time at a pickup point near the Vienna State Opera.
