Tour Details
Our free guided tour of Vienna will start at the central Helmut Zilk-Platz, located between the Albertina building and the Tourist Information Office. First of all, we'll see the Danubius fountain at the Albertinaplatz—do you know the origin of this fountain?
We'll continue our sightseeing tour through Burggarten Park towards the majestic Hofburg Imperial Palace. As we gaze at its refined façade, we'll learn about the history of this emblematic building, whose past is closely linked to intrigues, love affairs and conspiracies...
Our next stops will be in front of Josefsplatz and the Memorial against War and Fascism, which will give us an insight into the sad past of the Austrian capital during the first half of the 20th century. Passing through the Neuer Markt square, we'll head towards other iconic buildings in Vienna, such as the Mozart House or St. Stephen's Cathedral. From the outside of both, we'll review the origins of these iconic places of the city.
Finally, we'll end our free tour of Vienna 2 hours later in front of the Vienna State Opera, one of the musical temples of Europe!
