We'll start our adventure at Maria-Theresien-Platz, home to one of Vienna’s most picturesque Christmas markets. All aboard for a magical ride through the city!
As we travel through Vienna, we'll be captivated by the city’s enchanting Christmas lights, creating an unforgettable festive atmosphere as we listen to an audio guide explaining the sights we pass.
One of the first highlights we'll see is the famous City Hall Christmas Market, where over 150 wooden stalls overflow with seasonal treats and crafts. We'll also pass the Spittelberg Christmas Market, often regarded as the most charming Advent market in Vienna, with its cosy, village-like setting.
As we continue, the train will take us past the 'Art Advent' market at Karlsplatz, nestled in front of the Baroque Karlskirche Church. We'll admire the work of local artisans as the train rolls by. We'll also pass the grand Vienna State Opera, followed by the illuminated Parliament building, adding to the city's festive glow.
Lastly, we'll admire the magnificent façade of the Hofburg Palace, which hosts annual Christmas concerts within its historic halls.
Finally, after a total of 45 minutes, our train ride will come to an end back at the starting point.
