On this excursion to Bratislava from Vienna you'll travel on your own by bus to the capital of Slovakia, where you'll enjoy an English-speaking tour of the historic city centre.
Bratislava Tour
The tour will start at the VIB (Vienna International Busterminal) station, where you should arrive to take the bus from Vienna to Bratislava on your own. The bus will be operated by Flixbus, whose tickets will be sent to you after booking.
After an hour ride, you'll arrive at the bus stop Bratislava Most SNP. You'll then have one hour of free time to start touring the capital of Slovakia. Afterwards, you should make your way to the entrance of the Park Inn by Radisson Danube Hotel. From this point, located just 250 metres from where the bus dropped you off, a tour of Bratislava will start at 12 pm noon.
On this guided tour in English, which lasts approximately one hour, you'll see the exterior architecture of such emblematic buildings of Bratislava as St. Martin's Cathedral and the Slovak National Theatre. We'll also visit the Old Town Square and see St. Michael's Gate. The tour will end in front of the Trinity Church.
After the tour of Bratislava, the guide will accompany you to a centrally located restaurant. There you'll enjoy a delicious traditional lunch including two main courses, choosing from different Slovak recipes.
After lunch, you'll have free time again until late afternoon. Your return bus will depart at 6:20 pm from the Bratislava Most SNP stop. Finally, at 7:20 pm you'll arrive at Vienna VIB Station.
