On this bike tour in Vienna, we'll pedal around the best monuments and buildings in the centre of the Austrian capital. It's a sustainable activity!
Bike Tour
At the time indicated, we'll meet at Franz-Josefs-Kai. From here, we'll take a cycling route around Vienna's old town.
We'll start this tour on two wheels observing what was the residence of the Habsburgs: The Imperial Palace of Hofburg. Then, we'll admire the impressive neo-gothic City Hall and the Vienna State Opera House, a neuralgic centre for classical European music.
Afterwards, we'll continue cycling by the main building of the Vienna University of Technology, which dates back to 1815. Then, we'll cross Ring Road and Heroe's Square. Did you know that this was where Hitler announced the annexation of Austria to the Third Reich?
Next, we'll make a 15-minute break at the Hundertwasserhaus complex, an incredible arquitectural structure. Then, we'll get back on our bikes to enter the famous Prater Amusement Park, where we'll see the historic Ferris wheel from the 19th century.
After a 3-hour tour, we'll return to the meeting point to end this activity.
