Verona Bike Tour
We'll meet at 9:30 am on Via Teatro Ristori and hop on our bikes for a 4.3-mile (7-kilometre) tour around the city of Verona.
We'll first go near the Castelvecchio to admire the Ponte Scaligero and then we'll pedal along the Adige River until we reach the Ponte Pietra. On the way, our guide will tell us interesting facts and legends about this incredible city.
Our next destination: the Castle of San Pietro, a building from the Iron Age. We'll make a stop here and discover all about the renovations that this ancient building has undergone. Then we'll head to Piazza delle Erbe, where you'll be able to admire the imposing Lamberti Tower.
Before the end of the tour, we'll go see the outside of the Verona Arena, an amazing amphitheatre that'll remind you of the Colosseum in Rome. We'll tell you all about the history behind this fascinating place, which goes back to the period of the Roman Empire.
At 12:30 pm, we'll finish our bike tour back at the starting point.
