At 12 pm on the day you prefer, you will meet the guide, who will accompany you during the tour of the Fortress of San Juan de Ulua. We will board a tram that will take you to the impressive defensive walls which have witnessed so much history. The guide will tell you all about the secrets of this fort that have served as an arsenal of weapons, a winery, and even one of the most feared prisons in the country.
Trip to Mandinga
On the chosen day, you will meet the guide at 3 pm and then head to the picturesque village of Mandinga. In this town, you will enjoy a pleasant boat ride on the idyllic Laguna Encantada lake. You will drift through the mangroves and take a panoramic tour of the beautiful islands.
Tourist tram ticket
You can hop on the tourist tram at any time between 11:30 am and 9 pm, to tour the historic center of Veracruz and discover the iconic sights of the city. The tour lasts approximately 40 minutes and starts and ends at the Plaza del Acuario square.
Veracruz + Museums Tourist Pack
This package of activities replaces the visit to Mandinga with entry to two of the main museums in Veracruz. It also includes tickets for the aquarium, a guided tour of the San Juan de Ulua fortress, and a ticket for the tourist tram in the old town. In addition, you can visit the following museums:

The Veracruz Wax Museum is the perfect place to meet your favorite characters and have your picture taken with them. To enjoy the included activities, you must redeem your voucher at the tourist tram ticket offices at the Plaza del Acuario square in Veracruz. There, you must confirm if you want to do all the activities on the same day or organize the visits in a way that suits you best.
Recommended itinerary
You can visit the places in the order that suits you best, provided that the San Juan de Ulúa (12 pm) and Mandinga (3 pm) schedules are taken into account. However, if you want to do all the activities on the same day, we recommend the following route:
- Veracruz + Mandinga Tourist Pack: enter the aquarium at 10 am, continue with the visit to the San Juan de Ulua fortress at noon, and the excursion to Mandinga in the afternoon, before concluding the day with the touristic tram ride at 7 pm.
