Located a few meters away from the Piazza Campo Manin, the Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo is one of the most eye-catching buildings in Venice. Are you ready to explore its famous staircase?

This palace, built in the 15th century, combines perfectly the architectonical elements of Gothic, Byzantine, and Renaissance styles. Its fame and popularity, as well as its name, are due to the curious spiral staircase that decorates the façade of the building, creating the visual illusion of a tower.

During your visit, you'll explore the stairs of the palace and admire the city from its many archways. Once you reach the very top of the building, you'll be able to enjoy one of the best panoramic views of Venice. St. Mark's Campanile will be right in front of you, you can't miss it!

Opening Times

The Palazzo Contarirni del Bocalo is open daily at the following times:

Until October 26: open from 10 am to 6 pm (final admission is at 5:30 pm)
From October 28 to February 23: open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm (final admission is at 5 pm)

Ticket Validity

The ticket to the Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo Staircase is not refundable, so if you don't use it, you'll still be able to do so 2 years after the date of purchase.
