At the indicated time, we'll meet at Campo San Zaccaria in Venice and start this gondola ride under the Bridge of Sighs. Ready? Let's go!
In the company of other travelers, we'll sail on a Venetian gondola, a world-famous symbol of the city. Once seated, you'll be guided by a local gondolier dressed in the iconic striped shirt through the narrow and hidden canals that characterize the capital of the Veneto.
As we cruise the waters of the canals, we'll have the opportunity to cross bridges full of charm, admire elegant palaces, and immerse ourselves in the magic of the city.
The highlight of the gondola ride will be when we pass under the famous Bridge of Sighs. Do you know the legend of this place? It's said that it owes its name to the bittersweet sighs of the prisoners who crossed the bridge, which also would have been their last view of Venice before entering prison.
After a 30-minute gondola ride, we'll return to the starting point. Arrivederci!
Types of Seats
When booking, please note the types of seats in the gondola:
- Economy seat: it's not guaranteed that people making the same booking will sit together. In fact, it's possible that some of the participants in the group will be on a separate gondola.
- Standard seat: guarantees that people from the same reservation can sit in the same gondola, although there's no guarantee that you'll be able to sit together. However, please note that it may not always be possible to sit in the softest part of the gondola, known as the "throne".
Important: please note that it's up to the gondoliers and staff to decide how to place guests in the gondolas, based on weight and balance, to ensure a safe ride.
