Description
Immerse yourself in a magical atmosphere right in the heart of Venice and let yourself be overcome by classical music in San Vidal Church. With a history that dates back to the 11th century, this church has an interior adorned with masterful works by Venetian painters. Doesn't it seem like the perfect place for a concert?
It's said that this particular church was the burial place of the renowned Venetian composer Baldasare Galuppi. Inside, you'll also be able to visit an exhibition consisting of original violins, violas and cellos.
Once the lights have been dimmed and the performers take their places on the stage, the music will begin to play, whisking you back in time to the golden age of Venetian Baroque! As well as this, the acoustics of this temple are splendid, causing every note to echo off the centuries-old walls.
The Interpreti Veneziani orchestra pays homage to Antonio Vivaldi with The Four Seasons, followed by a concert of violins, strings and a harpsichord. The experience will come to an end with a final musical piece by Marin Marais on the cello. You'll love it!
After an hour and a half, the classical music concert and a truly magical night in Venice will come to an end.
