Cuban Products Tour
After picking you up from your hotel at the time indicated, we'll start the day by visiting the Azúcar y el Vapor "José Smith Comas" Museum, where we'll enter the sugar cane world and witness a demonstration of how these plants are cut by hand.
Then, we'll explore the plantation's installations as we learn about the sugar production process. Additionally, we'll enjoy a refreshing tasting of sugar cane juice "guarapo". Have you tried it before?
Afterwards, we'll board a steam train from the beginning of the 20th century to Cárdenes station. It'll feel like we're travelling back in time! Our next stop is the Ron Arrechavala Factory, known for being the birthplace of the famous Havana Club Rum. There, we'll learn about the secrets behind the distillation and ageing processes of this famous Cuban drink.
Having explored this museum, we'll head to a restaurant to enjoy a delicious lunch prepared with fresh ingredients. Then, we'll take a panoramic tour around Varadero, admiring its incredible countryside and main attractions before arriving at Casa del Ron. Here, we'll learn about the exciting history and fabrication process of Cuban rum and, furthermore, we'll try a selection of rums and creamy liquors.
The tour will continue in Las Morlas Square, where we'll talk about the importance of Cuban tobacco. We'll also have the chance to observe how they roll up the cigars, and, if you want, you can even make your own.
We'll then give you free time in Las Morlas Square, the perfect spot to buy some souvenirs and absorb the local atmosphere.
To finalise this unforgettable tour, we'll drop you back off at your accommodation in Varadero after 10 hours of activity. See you soon!
