Seaplane Excursion from Vancouver
Seaplane Excursion Options
At the time of booking, you can choose between three tour options, depending on the experience you prefer. All three include hotel pick-up and drop-off, and an English-speaking guide. Below, you'll find a brief description of each tour option:
Seaplane Excursion to Whistler
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Vancouver at the appointed time to embark on a great adventure: a seaplane excursion to Whistler! Can you imagine a more amazing way to travel to this famous northern Canadian city?
Upon boarding the seaplane, we'll take off and fly over the Coast Mountains of British Columbia and the fjords of Howe Sound. During the ride, you can marvel at the views of the majestic Canadian valleys and the turquoise waters of Garibaldi Lake. About 10 minutes later, we'll land at Green Lake, where a bus will pick us up and take us to Whistler.
When we arrive, we'll leave you free time to explore this great alpine resort, which has held some competitions of the Winter Olympics. You can enjoy the local cuisine, stroll through its stores and galleries, ride a cable car, or have a drink at one of its bars. Later in the afternoon, we'll regroup and board the vehicle that will take us back to the lake, and from here we'll depart by seaplane flying again over mountains and glacial lagoons until we reach Vancouver.
Once there, we'll pick you up and take you back to your hotel, where arrival is scheduled between 11 to 12 hours later.
Seaplane Excursion to the Gulf Islands + Kayaking
We'll pick you up from your hotel and take you to the city's port, where we will board a seaplane bound for Salt Spring Island, one of the renowned Gulf Islands. The Gulf Islands are known for their diverse wildlife, so you can expect to see bald eagles, seals, otters, and even dolphins on this Canadian adventure.
Upon landing on Salt Spring Island in the Strait of Georgia, specialized instructors will be ready to guide us on an unforgettable kayak tour. After a brief tutorial on handling the kayak, we'll set out on the tranquil waters surrounding the islands. For approximately 5 hours, we'll paddle through this stunning natural environment, taking in the beauty that surrounds us
To refuel, we'll enjoy a gourmet picnic featuring local, environmentally friendly products such as veggie burgers, organic chips, and seasonal fruit juices. Afterward, we'll return to the island's shore, disembark from the kayaks, and make our way back to Vancouver. This experience lasts a total of 9 hours
Seaplane Excursion to Victoria and Butchart Gardens
We'll pick you up at your accommodation and take you to the heliport, where we'll board a helicopter that will take you from Vancouver to Victoria. During the ride, we'll enjoy a bird's eye view of Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island like never before.
Once there, you'll have some free time to walk around and browse the stores on the famous Government Street, where you'll find a variety of decorative porcelain items and beautiful antiques. We highly recommend trying the delicious cream puffs, a local specialty.
At noon, we'll regroup to head to Butchart Gardens by bus, where we'll be surrounded by the stunning beauty of maples, moss, pines, rhododendrons, bamboo, and hostas. After, we'll take you back to downtown Victoria, where you'll board a seaplane for a 35-minute flight back to Vancouver. This entire experience lasts approximately 10 hours.
