Victoria Excursion
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your selected pickup point in Vancouver and head to the harbor to catch the ferry to Victoria. On the way, we'll spot the beautiful Gulf Islands and enjoy the fresh ocean air until we reach Vancouver Island. Alternatively, you can take advantage of the restaurants and stores on the boat.
Arriving at Victoria's Inner Harbour, we'll stroll along the colorful Government Street to reach the Chinatown district, the oldest in all of Canada. Here, we'll pass through another record-breaking place, namely the narrowest shopping street in North America, Fan Tan Alley. Do you know how it got its name? We'll find out on the tour!
We'll then reach the Butchart Gardens, a green space that is world-renowned for the wide variety of flora it houses... Nearly 900 different species! Inside, we'll see the exuberant colors of its plants and the geometry typical of Italian and Japanese gardens. Breathtaking!
Continuing on, we'll check out the Fairmont Empress Hotel, one of the symbols of the city. This iconic luxury waterfront hotel was designed by the famous Francis Rattenbury and has been declared a National Historic Site of Canada.
To conclude the visit, we'll move on to the Parliament of British Columbia, home of the state's Legislative Assembly, and then board the ferry to return to Vancouver. We'll drive you back to the meeting point after a total of 13 hours.
