Description
At the scheduled time, we'll depart from your hotel bound for Isla Negra, a coastal town nestled along Chile's so-called coastline of artists & poets - a place that has long served as a source of artistic inspiration.
Our first destination in Isla Negra is the Pablo Neruda House-Museum. Pablo Neruda, one of the 20th century's most prominent Chilean poets and the Literature Nobel Laureate in 1971, left behind a rich legacy. We'll explore his former residence, paying homage to his memory and visiting the resting place of both him and his wife, Matilde Urrutia. This insightful visit will last approximately one hour.
Following our time in Isla Negra, we'll journey to Algarrobo, where you'll have a brief opportunity to marvel at the world's largest swimming pool, stretching an impressive kilometer in length!
Our next stop takes us to the picturesque fishing village of Quintay, where you'll have an hour of free time to enjoy a leisurely lunch. Post-lunch, we'll delve into the history of this former whaling community.
