At the designated time, we'll begin this free tour of Valparaíso from the Fuente de Neptuno, located at Plaza Aníbal Pinto.
First, we'll head to the Reina Victoria Lift, one of the main funiculars in Valparaíso. From this elevator, we'll admire the extraordinary scenic views. After enjoying the sights, we'll continue our free tour on the Paseo Gervasoni, one of the city's most charming avenues.
Our route will continue on the Paseo Atkinson, home to various lookouts. These observation spots will provide fantastic views of the most colorful neighborhoods in Valparaíso. Then, we'll head to the El Peral funicular, another iconic funicular in the city.
This last funicular will take us to the Paseo Yugoslavo, a well-known boulevard where you'll marvel at important monuments such as the Baburizza Palace. From here, we'll explore the Bavestrello Passage and Urriola Street, known for their beautiful architecture. Afterward, we'll descend on foot to Plaza Sotomayor, one of the main squares in Valparaíso's center.
Lastly, we'll pass by the Monumento a los Héroes de Iquique, dedicated to fallen naval heroes from the Battle of Iquique. We'll conclude this free tour of approximately 2.5 hours admiring the Port of Valparaíso from Prat Pier.
