Concejo Bodegas Tour
At 11:30 am, we'll meet at the Concejo Bodegas winery, located on the outskirts of the historic center of Valoria La Buena. Ready to discover the exquisite wines of the province of Valladolid?
We'll begin with a tour of the organic vineyards of these wineries in the Pisuerga countryside. We'll explain the different ways the vines are cared for and take a look at the different types of grapes grown in this region.
Next, we'll watch a short explanatory video that will tell us about the history of the Concejo wineries and the family tradition behind this brand. Did you know that wine has been produced in Valoria La Buena since the 12th century? It is said that even the Catholic Monarchs toasted with wine from this area at their wedding!
After the visit, we'll go to the winery's restaurant and participate in a wine tasting in which we'll sample the Carredueñas Rosado, the Burro Loco Tinto and the Carredueñas Crianza Selección varieties. These exquisite wines will be paired with three tapas. Cured sheep's cheese, cecina (cured meat), foie gras and tuna with onions are some of the ingredients we can expect to see in these hors d'oeuvres. Enjoy!
