At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Valledupar and head north towards the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Are you ready to enjoy a day surrounded by nature?
During the tour, we'll travel through the beautiful mountainous landscapes that surround Valledupar in a minibus, making various stops to take photos at viewpoints and rivers. You'll be left fascinated!
We'll cross the valle del cacique Upar learning about the various legends that have been passed down from generation to generation. While we hear these stories, we'll be able to spot the Guatapurí River, the cerro de Los Besotes and small towns alongside other flowing rivers.
In Patillal, home of Vallenata composers, we'll come across La Malena stream. You'll have 30 minutes of free time to take photos in this area.
Then, we'll continue our drive through the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta until we arrive at the township of La Mina, where we'll admire the Candela and Badillo rivers. We'll take a 20-minute hike following the rivers which will allow us to appreciate the peace that nature has to offer us.
Additionally, we'll give you 2 and a half hours to take a well-deserved dip in the river. During this time, we'll prepare you a delicious lunch which includes a drink and different Colombian recipes.
After a seven and a half hour tour, we'll drop you back off at your hotel in Valledupar.
