The Señorita Malauva wine bar, located next to the cathedral of Valladolid, is one of the most famous in the city. This famous gastronomic center is perfect to taste the wines with Denomination of Origin of the province of Valladolid, such as Rueda, Ribera del Duero, Cigales, or Toro.
When making your reservation, you must choose one of the following options. All of them are led by a professional sommelier who will explain all the characteristics of the wines you taste.
Tasting of 4 wines & 13 cheeses (1.5 hours)
With this option, the adults will enjoy a tasting of 4 wines with Denomination of Origin: a white from Rueda, a rosé or traditional claret from Cigales, a red from Ribera del Duero, and a red from Toro. Each attendee will enjoy one glass of each D.O. wine.
To accompany these excellent wines, we'll try 13 different kinds of cheese made in Castilla y León. You can taste the goat's curl from Tiétar, the sheep's cheese with saffron, the sheep's cheddar, the fresh handmade cheese from Burgos, and the cheese with herbs from the pine forests of Valladolid, among others.
Important: during the weekends, the last tour takes place from 7 pm to 8:30 pm.
Tasting of 4 wines & Wagyu beef (2 hours)
Includes the tasting of 4 wines: Rueda, Ribera del Duero, Cigales, and Toro. The sommelier will help you to differentiate the nuances and aromas of these excellent wines with Designation of Origin, one of the most famous exports of Castile and Leon. Each attendee will have one glass of each D.O. wine.
To pair the wines, we'll have an exquisite Wagyu beef carpaccio from the Santa Rosalía estate. You're sure to be surprised by this delicious meat from the most famous Japanese beef. We'll also taste Wagyu pastrami jerky with honey and mustard sauce.
Tasting of 5 wines & 13 cheeses (2 hours)
In this case, we will taste 5 wines with Denomination of Origin: Rueda, Cigales, Ribera del Duero, Toro, and Tierra de León. We'll accompany the wine tasting with a tasting of 13 kinds of cheese from Castilla y León.
