Valladolid Guided Tour
Valladolid Guided Tour
The tour departs from the Valladolid Tourist Office on Calle Acera de Recoletos. On this route, as we walk through the streets of Valladolid, you'll learn all about the history, monuments and most emblematic places of this Spanish city.
In Plaza de San Pablo, we can see some of the most famous places in Valladolid, the former center of the court and the power of Spain.
We'll see the Royal Palace, the seat of the Spanish court in the early 17th century, the Palacio de Pimentel and its famous window, as well as the Church of San Pablo with its spectacular Gothic facade. We'll also check out the Colegio de San Gregorio, which houses the impressive National Sculpture Museum behind its mysterious façade.
During the tour, we'll pass by the Church of Santa María de la Antigua, founded by Count Ansúrez in the 10th century, the Cathedral, also known as "La Inconclusa," Plaza de Santa Cruz, and Plaza de la Universidad, one of the oldest in Spain!
We'll also see the Church of La Veracruz and Calle Platerías on our way to Plaza Mayor, which was formerly called Plaza del Mercado until the 14th century.
This square, one of the most beautiful in Spain, is where our route full of art, history, legend and illustrious characters ends.
