We'll meet at 9:35 am at the Francisco Canton Main Park. There, we'll begin to explore the Hispanic heritage of Mexican Valladolid.
First, we'll go to the Main Square of Valladolid, to take a closer look at its most representative monuments, such as the church of San Servacio, considered one of the oldest temples in the Yucatan.
We'll continue the tour strolling through the Indigenous Quarter, where we'll discover the origins of this city and learn about the daily life of its inhabitants.
Then we'll head over to a local market, a treat for the senses filled with the most typical aromas, colors, and flavors of Valladolid. We'll get to experience for ourselves the local way of life, and observe the variety of fruits, vegetables, and other diverse products characteristic of this beautiful area of Mexico.
Finally, we'll visit the Zací cenote, an incredible natural pool once sacred to the Mayans. We'll visit its viewpoint and talk about the importance of these natural formations for the Mayan civilization. Here, the tour will come to an end at 11:15.
