Chichen Itza, Izamal & Yokdzonot Cenote Trip
Chichen Itza, Izamal & Yokdzonot Cenote Trip
Between 7 and 7:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Valladolid before setting off for Chichen Itza only 45 minutes away.
Once there, we'll enter the Mayan site to explore its magnificent temples and discover its deities with a brilliant guided tour lasting one and a half hours. This site is considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the modern world. Afterward, you'll have free time to continue exploring this ancient city in your own way.
Afterward, we'll set off for the Yokdzonot cenote, one of the most beautiful natural pools on the Yucatan Peninsula. Here you can enjoy swimming and diving in depths of over 130 feet. Around 12:30 pm, we'll enjoy a delicious traditional lunch where you can choose between chicken, panuchos, salbutes, empandas, or poc-chuc.
Feeling reenergized, we'll set off for enchanting Izamal, known as the city of three cultures. We'll visit one of the largest structures in Mesoamerica, Kinich Kak Moo which you can climb if you're daring enough! Then we'll visit a craft workshop to see traditional works of art being produced.
Finally, we'll return to Valladolid, where we arrive at your hotel at around 6:30 pm.
