Chichén Itzá & Chichikan Day Trip
Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Parque Principal Francisco Cantón Rosado in Valladolid. Once we're all there, we'll begin a fascinating tour of the Yucatán peninsula in which we'll discover some of its most impressive gems.
Of course, our first stop will be at the archaeological site of Chichén Itzá, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. We'll explore this majestic Maya city and learn about the history of its gods and temples.
We'll see the Temple of Kukulcan and the enclosure where the Maya people played ball games, learning loads of interesting facts about this pre-Columbian civilisation.
After visiting the ruins, we'll go to the Chichikan ecotourism park, where we'll visit the Mayan village and take a dip in the Chichikan Cenote. Don't forget your swimsuit! Afterwards, we'll enjoy a delicious traditional Yucatecan buffet lunch.
Finally, we'll return to the departure point after 7.5 hours in total.
