Upon booking, you can choose between the two different options detailed below.
6-Hour Tour
After meeting at the indicated time, we'll head towards the town of Requena to visit one of its best wineries. Did you know that there are many houses in Requena built on top of caves that are used as wine cellars? We'll visit Murviedro winery, for a tour of its enigmatic caves, and stop inside one of them to taste a glass of wine. Afterward, we'll go to the tasting room to taste another two wines accompanied by an aperitif.
Once we arrive, we'll take an hour-long tour of this unique place, and then we'll head over to Utiel, to visit the Vera de Estenas winery. In this family winery, we'll tour the facilities and enjoy the tranquility of its beautiful vineyards. Then, we'll do a tasting of three wines with cheeses and charcuterie meats. Then, you'll have free time to eat lunch.
Finally, we'll head back to Valencia and end the tour after 6 hours.
8-Hour Tour
Are you eager for more? In this option, in addition to visiting the caves of Requena and the Utiel winery, we'll satisfy your appetite with a delicious meal.
Next, we'll go to the Murviedro or the Pago de Tharsys winery (depending on availability), the two most important wineries in the region! In one of them, we'll take a tour of the facilities and learn all the secrets of the local Requena grape: the Bobal grape. After about an hour-long visit, we'll do a tasting of their wines. Once the wine tour to Requena is over, we'll take you back to Valencia after an 8-hour wine-filled day.
