Valdivia Guided Tour

  • 3 reviews | 10 travellers
Jorge was a great guide who introduced us to the local culture and natural heritage of Valdivia in a very enjoyable way. With his recommendations about the places we were able to make the most of our time and enjoy the craft beer and gastronomy. I recommend him.

Valdivia Guided Tour

At the time indicated, we'll meet at the Feria Fluvial on Valdivia Waterfront and, from here, we'll start our guided walking tour around the centre of the city. Are you ready to discover the beautiful capital of the Chilean province of Los Ríos?

We'll head to the first stop of the day: Plaza de la República. Here, we'll talk about Valdivia's colonial era and its history from before up until today. We'll continue the tour strolling around the shores of the River Callecalle, where we'll see Schuster Docks and Foucault's Pendulum.

Then, we'll walk to Yungay Heritage Houses, where we'll see the beautiful architecture that characterises these homes. Do you know about their history? Or why they're called this? Along the way, you'll learn all this and more!

Finally, after a 2-hour route, we'll end this guided walking tour of Valdivia by the Torreón de los Canelos. At this final stop, we'll talk about the battle between the native Mapuches and Spanish conquerors in this region of Chile.
