Valdivia Beer Tour
Tour Details
At the appointed time, we'll meet at number 41 Saelzer Street. From there, we'll be introduced to Valdivia's gastronomic culture, a reflection of its fusion of Chilean and German roots, while visiting one of the city's most emblematic bars.
Afterward, we'll head to the historic Pedro de Valdivia Bridge. On the way, we'll talk about how German immigration shaped the architecture, gastronomy and, of course, the local brewing tradition. Crossing the bridge, we'll stop to contemplate the views of the Valdivia River and the postcards of the city from this point.
We'll continue our walk to the river market, a lively place where fresh products and the lively atmosphere will remind us of the importance of the river for Valdivia.
Next, we'll walk up the Paseo Libertad to the Plaza de la República, where we'll discover stories of ancient battles and key moments that marked the destiny of this city.
The tour will culminate in the vibrant Esmeralda neighborhood, known as the bohemian heart of Valdivia. Here, we'll bid farewell with a well-deserved beer in one of its renowned breweries. Each sip will be a celebration of the city's brewing tradition, a legacy influenced by its German heritage and dedicated craftsmanship.
Finally, after 1.5 hours, we'll conclude the tour at this last point.
