Trekking + Packrafting in Lake Esmeralda
Description
At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ushuaia and head to one of the most famous trekking routes in Tierra del Fuego, at Lake Esmeralda. Adventurers, let's go!
Upon arrival, we'll load up our backpacks with all the necessary equipment for packrafting and start this hike around a stunning route in Lake Esmeralda.
As we walk, we'll come across spectacular mountains in the Andes, where you won't be able to resist taking photos of the glacial landscape. You'll love it! We'll continue walking along the river, where we'll see beavers and local plant species.
After approximately 2 hours of hiking, we'll reach Lake Esmeralda. Are you ready to go packrafting? We'll take out these inflatable kayaks and head out onto the green lake.
We'll have a picnic-style lunch to fuel up again, composed of a sandwich, cereal bar, a local chocolate treat and fruit. Then, we'll make the return hike to the minibus before heading back to Ushuaia.
Finally, we'll drop you back off at your hotel after a total of 7 hours.

Please be aware that you should be in good physical condition to join this activity since we'll be walking a total of 9 km (5.6 miles) and carrying an 8 kg (17.6 pound) rucksack.
