Tierra del Fuego, Southern Fuegian Railway and Beagle Channel
Description
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Ushuaia at 7:30 am and set off by bus to the End of the World Station. Once there, we'll board the famous Southern Fuegian Railway, better known as the End of the World Train. Did you know that it is the southernmost railway line on the planet?
For five miles, we'll follow in the footsteps of the prisoners of Ushuaia 100 years ago when they went to nearby quarries to carry out work as part of their punishment. The journey is done in a vintage steam locomotive - it'll be like traveling back in time!
The route takes us deep into the Tierra del Fuego National Park, one of the most impressive landscapes in Argentina. At the end of the train ride, we'll embark on a panoramic tour of the national park by comfortable bus, before returning to the city, where you'll have time to buy lunch.
At 3 pm, we'll meet back up at the port, ready to set sail on a boat trip on the Beagle Channel. During the two-hour cruise we'll enjoy the spectacular views of this special place where the waters of the Pacific and the Atlantic meet - an experience you'll never forget!
At the end of the tour, we'll make the journey back to Ushuaia and you'll be dropped back off at your hotel at around 6 pm.
