Snowmobile, Sledge & Snowshoe Night Adventure
Snowmobile, Sledge & Snowshoe Night Adventure
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ushuaia and go by bus to Llanos del Castor. This winter centre is located in the middle of Tierra Mayor Valley, one of the most beautiful areas of Tierra del Fuego region.
Once we get to the shelter, we'll first go on a snowshoeing walk and then ride on a snowmobile or quad. In both activities, we'll cross the valley in the middle of the winter night.
Afterwards, we'll learn about the technique of 'mushing'. We'll see the sledges and learn the intricacies of this means of transport powered by huskies.
We'll finish this activity at the shelter, where we'll warm up with a dinner that will include meat skewers, a mountain stew, a coffee, and a hot wine. In addition, the refuge staff will brighten up the dinner by playing the guitar - a complete evening!
From here, we'll return by bus to your hotel in Ushuaia, where we'll conclude the activity 5 hours after pickup.
