Mount Susana Sunset Hiking Tour
Ushuaia Guided Evening Hike
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ushuaia and head to the trailhead. Are you prepared for a unique experience in the city at the end of the world?
Upon arrival, we'll embark on an unforgettable sunset hike on Mount Susana. The initial 1.5-hour segment, of medium difficulty, will lead us uphill. During this phase, we'll conquer a 500-meter (1,640-foot) slope, witnessing the gradual takeover of the Tierra del Fuego National Park by the mesmerizing last sun rays.
As we ascend Mount Susana, we'll traverse the native forests of the region until reaching a scenic viewpoint. Here, we'll revel in magnificent panoramic views of Ushuaia and the Beagle Channel under the night sky. Taking advantage of this pause, we'll prepare a tasty dinner on a camp stove.
The menu features a delightful lentil stew accompanied by mulled wine and snacks. Following dinner, we'll begin the downhill portion. Throughout the 1.5-hour descent, we'll continue exploring the native evergreen forests.
The trekking adventure concludes as we return to the trailhead. We'll then transport you back to your Ushuaia hotel, where we'll arrive around 5 hours after pickup.
