Laguna Esmeralda Hike
Laguna Esmeralda Hike
After picking you up from your hotel in Ushuaia we'll set off towards the valleys of the Tierra del Fuego province, an incredible natural landscape.
After a 20-minute car journey, we'll arrive at the starting point of our hike. Along the trail, we'll cross two incredible valleys of glacial origin: the Tierra Mayor Valley and the Esmeralda River Valley.
We'll spend two hours walking through forests formed by trees and glaciers. At midday, we'll reach the famous Esmeralda Lagoon, whose emerald green waters honour its name. In the middle of this natural environment, we'll enjoy a picnic consisting of fruit, alfajores, empanadas and, most importantly, a warm tea.
With our batteries recharged, we'll set off again, taking the same route back and in just over two hours we'll be on the bus heading back to Ushuaia. We'll drop you off at your hotel at 2:30 pm so you can have a well-deserved rest.
