Beagle Channel Yacht Cruise & Bridges Island Trek

At your chosen time, we'll meet at Avenida Prefectura Naval Argentina. From here we'll go to the port to board a yacht and sail along the Beagle Channel.

The first stop on our tour will be Alicia Island, a perfect place to observe the sea lions that live in this part of Tierra del Fuego. We'll continue sailing until we come across Isla de los Pájaros, which has a well-known biodiversity including ducks, gulls, pigeons, cormorants.

We'll continue the route towards the east to see the tiny island where the Les Éclaireurs lighthouse stands, a real symbol of Ushuaia. From here we'll also observe an important cormorant colony.

After this crossing, we'll disembark on Bridges Island, at the southern tip of the South American continent. We'll start trekking and discover the flora and fauna of this island, home to the Yamanas natives. The trek will last for two hours, travelling around the island until we reach the highest point to enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the Beagle Channel.

We'll return to the yacht to go back to Ushuaia, where the tour will end.

Muy buena excursión, el guía Cristian nos ha dado muy buenas explicaciones sobre la historia, flora y fauna de Ushuaia mientras navegamos, y la tripulación con Cristian y Gabriel muy amable y atenta. Creo que el que haya sido un barco chico lo hizo aún mejor, ya que el trato del guía es más personalizado, y no te tienes que pelear con otros pasajeros para ver a los lobos de mar (comparado con lo que pensaría que sucedería con los otros barcos grandes que llevan más pasajeros). Ótimo passeio, fomos recebidos por uma guia muito simpática e carismática. A vista das montanhas durante passeio de barco é linda. Cuidado apenas com o vento gelado, que torna a sensação térmica de bem mais frio. Passamos pelo farol e pela ilha dos leões-marinhos, depois caminhamos um pouco pela Ilha Bridges, sempre com explicações da guia, que faz uso de mapas e fotografias. Acho que vale muito a pena, ainda mais por não ser um passeio tão longo.

A unique experience, highly recommended. Cristian's explanations, as well as the cooperation of the boat crew, were top-notch.
