4x4 Lake Tour
Description
At the indicated time we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ushuaia and set off on our 4x4 to the lake region around Tolhuin. Are you ready to discover some of the most beautiful landscapes of Tierra del Fuego?
We'll begin by crossing the famous Garibaldi Pass, the only road crossing over the Fuegian Andes. As we make our crossing to the other side, we'll see how the landscape dramatically changes, with the Patagonian steppe suddenly appearing before our very eyes.
En route, we'll stop at the Ecotono Refuge, located right in front of Cami Lake. Here, we'll grab a delicious breakfast before setting off on our 2-hour hiking route. During this walk, we'll encounter the Black Lagoon, the lenga forest, beaver dams, peat bogs and much more!
After this walking tour, we'll return to the refuge to enjoy a traditional asado fueguino.
With our bellies full, we'll take the 4x4 back to Ushuaia, where we'll finish the excursion after 8.5 hours.
