Immerse yourself in the breathtaking landscapes of the southernmost region of Argentina with this 2-day packrafting adventure on the Lasifashaj River, navigating through the stunning scenery of Tierra del Fuego.

Lasifashaj River Adventure Tour

Day 1

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Ushuaia at the scheduled time and head to the base of Cerro Cornu mountain. Upon arrival, we'll prepare all the necessary packrafting equipment. Unlike traditional rafting, packrafting involves individual paddling on a lightweight (packable) inflatable boat.

After gearing up, we'll embark on an exhilarating packrafting journey on the Lasifashaj River. The route will be adapted to weather conditions and the group's experience, allowing you to appreciate the lush Nothofagus forests.

We'll conclude this stage at a mountain camp on the bank of the river, where dinner will be served, and you'll rest overnight.

Day 2

Start the day with breakfast at the camp before venturing on a new packrafting route along the Lasifashaj River. This stage will also be adapted to weather conditions and group characteristics and will showcase a changing landscape. As we approach the legendary Beagle Channel, the forests will transition to steppe and reeds.

Midway through, we'll reach the impressive Lasifashaj waterfall, providing a perfect spot for lunch. After recharging, continue paddling towards Estancia Harberton camp. In this final stretch, the river transforms into an estuary teeming with herons, ducks, and geese.

We'll conclude the packrafting journey on the shores of the Beagle Channel, the narrow arm of sea separating Argentina from Chile in Tierra del Fuego. A waiting vehicle will then transport you back to Ushuaia, with an estimated arrival between 8 pm and 9 pm.

Lodging and Meals

This packrafting route includes one night of accommodation in a mountain camp, where you'll spend the night in tents.

The route also includes one breakfast, two lunches, and one dinner, which will be picnic-style, served in the middle of nature.
