Excellent safari, the Udawalawe park is beautiful, we saw many elephants, crocodiles, various birds, the driver was very friendly, he was very attentive. Of the three safaris we've done, this is hands down the best.

On this private safari in Udawalawe National Park, we'll take you to meet the mighty Asian elephants. We'll also spot lots of other animals that inhabit this area. An unmissable experience!

Tour Details

On board a 4x4 vehicle, we'll drive into Udawalawe National Park, one of the best places to see Sri Lanka's majestic elephants.

We'll travel through the savannah in search of the different animals that inhabit Udawalawe, such as golden jackals, spotted deer, buffalo and, of course, elephants - an amazing experience!

We'll also get close to the wetlands of the park, home to crocodiles resting peacefully on the banks of the Udawalawe reservoir and numerous birds of prey such as the sea eagle, osprey and crested snake eagle.

After the chosen amount of time spent in the park, we'll return to the starting point and end the safari.

Options

When you book, you can choose between three different options: 3, 6 or 9-hour safari. Depending on the length of time you choose, you'll spend more or less time exploring Udawalawe National Park. It's up to you!

This safari includes pickup from hotels within 3 miles (5 kilometres) of the Udawalawe National Park entrance. If your accommodation is not within this distance, we'll meet you directly at the park entrance.
