Traditional Hindu Wedding
Traditional Hindu Wedding
At the scheduled time, we will meet up at your hotel where we start the first part of this special day. We will begin by doing the traditional wedding make-up. According to Hindu rituals, every detail of the wedding has a meaning, hence the importance of face decoration.
Once this is done, you will head to the temple where the ceremony will take place. Here the most important moment of the day will arrive, you will be able to get married or renew your wedding vows in India following the local rituals.
In the temple everything will be ready: the priest, the altar properly decorated for the ceremony, and even the typical wedding dresses and jewels that you will have to wear according to this ritual. Hindu tradition says that marriages are made in heaven and that once two people are married, this bond remains for seven lifetimes.
The priest will perform each of the rituals in a traditional ceremony, full of mantras to ask for the blessing of the god Vishnu. At the end, you will have to walk around the sacred fire seven times and take the seven oaths.
During the entire ceremony, a photographer will carry out a complete photographic report to capture each of the special moments you will experience.
With the excitement of having married according to the Hindu ritual, we will return to the hotels.
Only for fun, not an official marriage
This ceremony is symbolic and not a legal wedding. It is a ceremony to spiritually seal the depth of the couple's love.
