At the appointed time, we'll meet at number 29 Kaleüçağız Köyü Yolu to start this kayak tour of Kekova and paddle through its crystal clear waters. Off we go!
After learning how to use the kayaks, we'll put on life vests, get into the boats and begin paddling from Üçağiz beach. Kayaking southwest along the coast, we'll make our way to the island of Kekova. We'll then reach Tersane Bay, where we'll stop for a refreshing swim.
The kayak tour then takes us over the ancient sunken city of Kekova. Here, we'll talk about this protected area, see its ruins, and take pictures from a unique perspective.
Then, we'll row towards Simena Castle, where we'll get out of the kayaks and explore the surroundings of the fortress. We'll also visit the necropolis and admire the surrounding nature. If you don't want to enter the castle, you'll have time to relax in the bay and swim in its turquoise waters.
Following this visit, we'll return to the kayaks and head to Theimussa, the last stop of the day. Did you know that some impressive Lycian sarcophagi were found here? You'll be amazed!
We'll finish the kayak tour in Kekova, arriving back at the starting point after a 4-hour route.
