At the established time, we'll meet up at Rua Colonial in Ubatuba to set off on this hiking tour through the ruins of Lagoinha.
During the non-strenuous hike, we'll visit the ruins of an old mill at Fazenda Bom Retiro, an archaeological site declared Historical Heritage of the State of São Paulo in 1985, with the aim of protecting the legacy of Ubatuba.
Throughout this walking tour, we'll tell you how this farm became one of the largest producers of coffee, sugar, and brandy in the country. In addition, according to historians, these ruins belonged to the first glass factory in Brazil. Fascinating!
After visiting the ruins of Lagoinha, we'll continue walking until we reach the Velo da Novia waterfall, the perfect place to enjoy the spectacular landscapes of this area of Brazil.
Finally, the hiking trip through the ruins of Lagoinha will come to an end when we return back to the starting point after three hours of walking.
