Sumidero Canyon Sunrise Bike Tour
Sumidero Canyon Bike Tour
We'll pick you up at 6 am at your hotel in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, and from there we'll ride to the viewpoints of the Sumidero Canyon National Park, just half an hour away.
Once we arrive at the viewpoints, we'll embark on a sunrise bike tour through the Sumidero Canyon. Over the course of 16 kilometers (10 miles), which will take us about 2.5 hours, we'll cycle along one of the most spectacular gorges in the state of Chiapas.
During the ride, we'll be accompanied by a minibus, which you can get on if you get tired at any time along the way. The route will take us to a new viewpoint of the Sumidero Canyon, where you'll be able to take some extraordinary photographs of this impressive gorge at sunset.
While we take in the stunning views, we'll tell you various curiosities about the local wildlife. Such is the importance of this captivating natural space that it even appears on the Chiapas coat of arms!
After delighting in the region's natural beauty and learning about the canyon, we'll pedal back to the starting point of the bike tour. From here we'll return to your hotel in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, where we'll arrive at 11:30 am.
