Lake San Nicolás Camping Trip
Lake San Nicolás Camping Trip
Day 1: Tuxtla Gutiérrez - Lake San Nicolás
We'll pick you up at 7 am at your hotel in Tuxtla Gutierrez and head south. After a 3-hour drive, we'll arrive at Lake San Nicolás, very close to the Lagunas de Montebello National Park. This natural space in the state of Chiapas stands out for its exuberant landscapes.
Upon arrival at the lake, we'll set up the tents and sleeping bags that we'll provide you with. Afterwards, we'll have breakfast, including coffee and tortilla wraps with eggs.
After breakfast, you can stroll at your leisure around Lake San Nicolas to take pictures and enjoy the area. Afterwards, we'll meet at the campsite for a lunch that includes grilled meat, coffee, fresh water, and seasonal fruit. Then, you'll have the afternoon free until dusk, when we'll embark on a night hike.
During the walk, we'll admire the twinkling stars in the night sky. After 1 hour, we'll return to the campsite, where you'll have dinner on your own, so don't forget to bring your picnic!
Day 2: Lake San Nicolás - Tuxtla Gutiérrez
