Tunja Mountain Biking Tour
Biking Adventure
You'll be collected at the scheduled time from your hotel in Tunja, and from there, we'll head on the motorway into the suburbs. Once there, we'll have a warming breakfast.
After regaining our strength, it'll be time to get on our cycling gear and begin our unforgettable cycling tour in the mountains. The route, which takes between 4 and 6 hours, will depend on the option you have selected.
After finishing the cycling route, we'll make our way towards a local restaurant in the area to enjoy a traditional lunch that includes a starter, a main course of meat or fish, and a drink. Once we've eaten, you'll be brought back to your hotel in Tunja.
Options
Upon making your reservation, you may choose one of the following options:
Entry level tour (4 hours)
On this cycling tour for beginners, we'll cycle on the Caiboca and Mortiñal routes. After taking in the stunning landscape, we'll pedal around the municipalities of Sora Larga and Chivata.
Intermediate tour (5 hours)
If you select this option, we'll pass along one of the preferred cycling trails of the Colombian Department of Boyacá. The route, which will run through the outskirts of Tunja, will begin in Sote Medio and, from there, we'll continue towards Tourmalet.
This mountain biking tour will then continue on to the areas of Monte Blanco, Combita, La Fatiga and Gomitas.
Advanced tour (6 hours)
This trail is the most complex and technical of them all, we'll ride through the Fumigadoras, Sote Areneras and Tobos landscapes. It'll be a challenge for even the most experienced cyclists!
To put the cherry on top of this very special tour, we'll cycle through some of the most emblematic places such as Tres Puñaladas and Triple Cocho.
