Cape Bon Full Day Tour

  • 8 reviews | 135 travellers
What we liked the most was Hammamet (it has a beautiful medina) and the Kerkouane site (fairly preserved, completely empty of tourists). Maybe I would cut out the El Haouaria grottoes that seemed less interesting to us (technically they were quarries to build Carthage) and dedicate more time to Hammamet.

Cape Bon Full Day Tour

At 8 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tunis and head for the Cape Bon peninsula.

First of all, we'll visit Kerkouane, where we'll see its necropolis, the only remaining vestige of this Phoenician-Punic city. After exploring the ancient tombs of Kerkouane, we'll come to the coastal town of El Haouaria.

We'll walk through the Roman caves of Les Grottes, at the tip of the Cap Bon peninsula, and head to the hot springs of Korbous, a famous natural spa since Roman times. Here you can take a relaxing soak in the warm waters!

After a refreshing dip, we'll travel to the town of Nabeul - full of history and famous for its pottery in particular. We'll explore its charming streets and check out the shops, especially the specialist art shops!

Finally, to complete our tour of the Cape Bon peninsula, we'll visit Hammamet, one of Tunisia's most popular tourist destinations. We'll stroll through the walled medina, full of white houses and with tradition and culture in every corner of its charming streets. Then, we'll enjoy a typical meal in a Hammamet restaurant.

Finally, you'll return to your hotel in Tunis and the tour will end at 4 pm.
