Dive into the turquoise waters of the Caribbean and meet the sea creatures underneath in this turtle swimming activity in Akumal Bay!
Description
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the Riviera Maya and bring you to Akumal Bay. En route, you can enjoy some soft drinks or water on board!
Once we've arrived at our destination, we'll put on our snorkeling gear and get ourselves ready to meet the turtles! Of course, before we jump into the water, we'll review some basic safety rules to observe during the activity.
We'll then dive in and begin to explore the reef and meet the turtles that live in Akumal's waters. Did you know that they can live up to 150 years? We'll teach you how to identify the different species that reside in the waters. Before long, you'll be an expert!
While snorkeling, we might encounter sea urchins, corals, and maybe even manta rays if we're lucky! Finally, we'll leave you 2 hours of free time so you can do some sunbathing and enjoy Akumal Bay at your own pace.
We'll conclude the activity after dropping you back at your hotel, where we'll arrive between 4 and 6 hours after pickup, depending on the location of your accommodation.
