Between 12:30 and 1 pm, we'll pick you up at your hotel and head inland to the Yucatan for a guided tour of the Muyil archaeological site.
During the tour of this ancient Mayan city, we'll admire the pyramid of Muyil. Do you know the reason for its tiered structure? We'll discover the reason while we learn about the history of the temples and other archaeological remains of this important archaeological site in the Yucatan!
We'll continue our tour of the enclave by visiting an observation tower that will provide us with magnificent panoramic views of Muyil. After enjoying the views, we'll recharge our batteries with lunch outside. The menu includes a selection of vegetarian dishes based on the most traditional Yucatecan recipes!
After lunch, we'll take a boat ride through Sian Ka'an, ancient canals built by the Mayas that run alongside two freshwater lagoons. Here, you'll have 30 minutes free for a swim surrounded by orchids and bromeliads.
Finally, we'll sail back to the starting point and, from there, we'll return to your hotel. Arrival is scheduled between 6:30 and 7 pm.
Pickup
This excursion includes pickup from centrally located hotels in Tulum.
Pickup in the following areas will incur these extra costs:
- From Conrad Tulum by Hilton to Puerto Aventuras: US$ 10 per person
- From Puerto Aventuras to Hotel Paradisus Playa del Carmen: US$ 20 per person
- From Hotel Sandos Caracol Playa del Carmen to Hotel Iberostar Gran Paraiso de Playa Maroma: US$ 30 per person
These extra costs for pickup must be paid at the destination on the same day of the activity.
