Chimu & Moche Cultures Tour + Marinera Show
Chimu & Moche Cultures Tour + Marinera Show
At 9:40 am, we'll meet at the Plaza de Armas in Trujillo and head southeast to visit the Moche countryside.
During the tour, we'll discover the way of life of the inhabitants of the Peruvian countryside. We'll arrive at the Huacas de la Luna, where we'll discover in detail all about the Moche culture. We'll see polychrome murals and friezes in relief, and you'll fall in love with them
The next stop will be in front of the Huaca Chica, in Moche Pueblo, where you can satisfy your appetite on your own in one of the nearby restaurants. With your batteries recharged, we'll get ready to enjoy a horse show and the 'Marinera', a traditional Peruvian dance.
After the show, we'll head to Chan Chan, the largest adobe construction in America. It's a large citadel that extends over 20 square kilometres (215 square feet) and was dedicated to the god of the sea.
After discovering this archaeological complex, we'll go to the coast and at Huanchaco Beach you'll have an hour of free time to watch the sunset or stroll along the tourist pier.
Finally, we'll return to Trujillo and end the excursion at approximately 6:25 pm.
