Whale Watching Fjord Cruise
Whale Watching Fjord Cruise
At 8 am, we'll meet at the pier pier to the side of Skarven Kro Restaurant, which is located on Kaigata Street in Tromsø. Ready to sail the icy waters of the Norwegian fjords?
During the winter months, roughly from the beginning of November until the end of January, the waters of Tromsø welcome some very special guests. Humpback whales, killer whales, porpoises and other Arctic cetaceans migrate to this northern part of Scandinavia in search of herring to feed on.
We'll cruise the Norwegian fjords on the lookout for these fascinating mammals. Once we spot them, we'll stop the boat so we can calmy watch them surface and take some epic snapshots. As an added bonus while you watch the whales, you can also visit the boat's bar, which also offers hot drinks.
After having witnessed this magical spectacle, we'll return to the starting point between 4 pm and 5 pm.
Important
We cannot guarantee we'll spot whales on the trip as they're wild animals and many factors such as the weather, which is unpredictable and can change very quickly, can affect their behavior.
The duration of the trip will also depend on the weather and how long it takes to spot the whales. Depending on these factors, the activity will last between eight and nine hours.
We will carry out this whale watching activity without invading or disturbing the animals' natural space, using a silent electric motor that will not cause any noise or vibrations that could harm the cetaceans.
