Varkala Private Day Trip
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Trivandrum and begin our journey towards Varkala. Ready to fall in love with all of its attractions?
Our adventure will begin with an amazing view of Anchuthengu Fort. This place, which has featured in many legends of the colonial era, offers the best insight into the heritage of the state of Kerala. There, we'll stroll through its rooms while learning about the interesting past of this historical monument.
Then, we'll make our way to the famous Sivagiri Mutt, a spiritual centre and a site of great pilgrimage in Varkala. This sanctuary is a testament to the legacy of Sree Narayana Guru, an Indian philosopher, spiritual leader and social reformer.
The next stop will be at the lake and beach in Kappil, a picturesque and tranquil corner where the lake meets the Arabian Sea. What do you think of the views? Amazing, right?
We'll continue this private excursion towards the charming Golden Island, known for its idyllic charm. There, you'll have time to grab some lunch and enjoy the sheer serenity that this small piece of paradise offers.
Our journey will culminate in visiting the iconic promontory located at Varkala Beach. Here, we'll see how the spectacular cliffs are reflected in the blue waters of the Arabian Sea. Can you figure out why it's known as one of the most beautiful beaches in India? Fancy a dip?
Finally, after 13 hours together, we'll return to the hotels in Trivandrum.
