After meeting at the Kunnandan Ganapathi Temple, we'll set off on a tour of Trivandrum to discover the city's most traditional aromas and flavours. Accompanied by an expert guide in local gastronomy, we'll explore the city's lively streets, tasting delicious dishes and desserts along the way.
Our tour will take us to traditional markets, full of spices and traditional ingredients such as rice, bread, fish and chicken. First of all, we'll try some typical regional snacks such as putu mayam (a rice noodle dish), pazham pori (banana fritters) and dhokla (batter made of rice and chickpeas). We'll even finish off with some dessert, as we'll get to try some namkeen and halwa.
