Complete Tour of Trinidad
Complete Tour of Trinidad
At the selected time, we'll pick you up at your hotel to begin a complete tour of Trinidad, one of the most important cities in southern Bolivia!
We'll start with a walking tour of the city and visit the main square, where the colonial-style Trinidad Cathedral is located. You'll love its beautiful two-colored façade!
Then, we'll head to the Plaza de las Banderas, where we'll learn about the most important events in the history of Trinidad and the department of Beni. Afterwards, we'll go to the San Juan stream, where, if we're lucky, we'll see some capybara, the largest rodent in the world!
The next stop will be at the Ramsar Wetlands interpretation center. Here, we'll learn about the Ramsar Wetlands, which have been bestowed international importance and are included in the Ramsar Convention for the protection of wetlands by UNESCO.
Next, we'll visit the Kenneth Lee Ethno-Archaeological Museum to learn about the cultural richness of the ancient Moxeña civilization. Afterwards, we'll go to a local handicraft market, where you'll be able to purchase samples of traditional medicine made with Amazonian products.
As the cherry on top, we'll go by bus to the Suarez Lagoon, the main natural attraction of Trinidad. If you've chosen the afternoon schedule, it'll be the perfect place to enjoy a beautiful sunset over its waters!
You'll have time to enjoy the surroundings or take a swim if you'd like before we take you back to your hotel in Trinidad. We'll arrive back at your hotel after 3 hours of touring.
