At the scheduled time, we'll meet at your selected pickup point and begin this panoramic tour of Trieste. Ready? Let's go!
Famous for its promenade, its fortresses and its beautiful historic centre, Trieste is a unique European city thanks to its geographical location. This has led to it becoming a real melting pot of cultures and communities. While travelling around on a minibus, we'll discover the city's main attractions comfortably.
During the tour, we'll pass by iconic locations in Trieste such as the Grand Canal and the area of Ponterosso, one of the most romantic corners of the city. Discover why! Near here, we'll find the Piazza Unità d'Italia, home to the City Hall, as well as lots of cafés.
We'll continue the tour by passing by the statue of James Joyce, where we'll hear all about the relationship between this writer and the city, and admire spots such as the Orthodox churches of San Nicolò dei Greci and San Spiridione, or the Cathedral and the San Giusto Castle.
After discovering the main points of interest, we'll make our way to Miramare Castle, located in the highest part of the city, where we'll have some amazing panoramic views of the Gulf of Trieste. Once there, we'll enter the building to explore this 19th-century fort. As well as this, you'll also have an audio guide in English to learn about its amazing secrets.
Once we've finished the visit, you'll be able to relax in its beautiful garden, where we'll find both native and exotic trees.
Finally, we'll begin our return journey back to the starting point and bring this tour to an end after 5.5 hours together.

During the booking process, you can select from the following pickup points where you'd like to start the tour:
- If you're arriving in Trieste by cruise ship: we'll pick you up at the Cruise Terminal in Trieste, where your cruise ship is docked.
- If you're not arriving in Trieste by cruise ship: head to the meeting point located in front of the main entrance of the Savoia Excelsior Palace Hotel (Riva del Mandracchio, 4), near Piazza Unità d'Italia (Italy's Unity Square).
